A friend of mine asked me to contribute to her website “Seeds of Faith, Hope, and Love”.
I have been trying not to get too personal on this blog. Keeping it light seems easier especially since I can go way deep and I don’t want people to think I’m depressed or anything.
I’ve decided to share the post- mainly because she asked me to. So check it out if you want to know me a little better. She just posted it so it should be the first story to come up. If not it’s under the title “Overcoming Anxiety”.
One more thing, if you like the story and want to share your own-about yourself or someone who has inspired you-then think about submitting something yourself.

Hi Gina – I’m catching up on a month (OK, maybe two) of blog reading and read you contribution. What a great and brave essay. I’ve struggled with some anxiety issues over the years, but nothing that a little group therapy and the occasional figurative slap to the face couldn’t solve. I actually had a panic attack on Christmas eve; long story, but I’ve learned to push through it and come out the other side much stronger, just like you wrote about. Thanks, and keep writing!
